About me

This informative page talks about my personal Life stories, experiences, dreams, aspirations and major break throughs.
Am a Ugandan based in the United States. Am so thrilled by alot of big dreams and aspiration. At the center of all those aspirations, there is one nerve, that is, community development and empowerment of my Ugandan society so that One day, they can unleash their full potentials, become self reliant and above all, productive lot in the world.

I am a born of Gulu District in Northern Uganda. My ancestral homestead is in Amuru district and precisely Atiak sub county. I spent my early days of life moving between Atiak and Gulu town looking for survival. I was born in August 1985 - just 5 months before the 22year old tragic LRA war started- from a very humble and impoverished family. With increase in the rebels’ brutality and also after when my dad who was abducted by the rebels escaped from their bondage, we left Atiak, our ancestral village to take refuge in the suburbs of Gulu town where we stay up to date.

I took my primary education in St. Joseph Primary School in Gulu from 1992-1998. During this period, we spent a lot of nights in the bush fleeing from the rebels, heard uncountable gunshots year in year out and lost many of my childhood friends and school mates to the rebels. I attended High School Education from Sacred Heart Seminary Lacor in Gulu from 1999 to 2004, during this period; the rebels abducted 41 of my colleagues, 11 of whom are not yet back up to now. Between 2005 and 2008, I attended College Education and I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Philosophical Studies with Education from Makerere University in Kampala. I later on pursued a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Development from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi. Currently I am studying in Baltimore, Maryland.

I am looking forward to working with the wounded brothers and sisters in Northern Uganda towards community oriented development, social transformation and potential building.
